Saw Blade Quilt Square

The owner of the property found a 32” blade, evidence of a saw mill on the lowland behind the building near Fawn Lake. The mill was likely used in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s.

The present building was built in 2011 and is the home base for a sawmill operation. The lumber is milled from other locations. This location is primarily a woodworking base where furniture is made from the lumber e.g. pine, oak, hemlock, ash, maple and iron wood.
